And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. ‘I asked God’ | שאלתי את אלוהים

Testimony

In my early twenties, I wanted to give my life to God. I decided to enter a convent to become a nun. The day that I had planned to go to speak with the nuns, who had long been friends, I had a conversation with God. The thought of my heart was, “God, I can be good, and I can be religious. You see the lines on the palm of my hand? I can give and help. You see the veins on the top of my hand? I can follow a religion. But, if there is more to You than being good or religious, You better tell me now because I am going into that building and will pray to statues and with beads the rest of my life. If you are God, don’t send me anyone to tell me. Don’t send me a priest or teacher.” I then looked up to heaven. I pointed my finger to Him and sternly and loudly said, “If You are God, then tell me YOURSELF!”

Before I finished enunciating the letter f with my lips, a profound love came inside me. It was so encompassing I fell to the floor. This love engulfed me. Thick drops of tears fell from my eyes as this love entered me. It was too profound for me to contain. I could not speak. I was suddenly aware of God’s existence.

In an instant all my sins from the time I was a child to my adult life went through my mind. This was very quick. In my heart I asked God, “You saw all of that, and You protected me all along?”

His voice spoke to me, “It was Me.” After a pause, He spoke again, “I am the Son of God.” There was another pause. He spoke again, “I am Jesus.” He paused. During the pauses, I saw the shadows of Him as who He is. He spoke again, “You cannot come to the Father, but through Me. I died for you on the cross.” I could see the shadow of the cross to my right at a distance. He spoke again, “I gave my blood to cleanse you.” He opened my understanding. “You cannot take your heart out, Claudia, wash it with soap and water, and put it back in, but I can do it.”

That second a cleansing went through me. I was separated from the world into His presence. I saw the ways of the world depart from me as one would sense an existence leave. I couldn’t bear to even think of the world touching me. I shook at the thought of it. In an instant I was immersed in a cleansing as a cloak of holiness covered me.

The Son of God continued to engulf me in His love, until all I could do was love Him. That instant, I belonged to Him. I was blind to everything. All I could see was Jesus.

I was still sitting on the floor and my tears were still thick, as they continued to fall. Inside me was His profound love. My very breath was His. He had come into my heart in the power of His love.

When He was done, I got up from the floor knowing that God had a Son, that His name was Jesus, that I could not go to the Father but through Him, and that He had died on the Cross for my sins. His love was profound, surpassing all existence. Jesus opened my understanding that He is the Saviour of my soul.

A few days later, my family would not understand the dramatic change in me. It was evident that I was no longer the same. I was told that I had to choose between my God or their god. I was to choose between my home and family or my God. Before I could think about it, I heard His voice again. He said, “Claudia, you have no choice to make here. You have not chosen Me. I have chosen you. Now go.”

I met others who went to church and read a book called the Bible. Soon, I had one and began to read it. I told God, “I don’t like Your book. It has so much evil in it, murderers, heads cut off and nailed to walls, rapes, incest, wars, horrible deaths. No, I don’t like Your book.”

Suddenly I heard the voice of the One Who had revealed Himself to me. He spoke and said, “This book is about salvation. No one can go to the Father but through me, and all else go to hell.” I deeply questioned this. “Wait,” I said, “You are mistaken. There are people who help others, those who help the poor and the needy.” He spoke again, “This book is about salvation. No one can come to the Father but through me. All else go to hell.” I argued with Him again. “You must be mistaken. What about good people?” He spoke the third time, “I am the Son of God. No one can come to the Father, but through Me, and all else go to hell.”

The third time He spoke, He showed me a darkness. It consisted of beings flying intensely. He made me understand that these beings were from hell. Stunned, I asked Him, “Do you mean that those beings are from hell? There is a devil? And, all day long he is after souls to take them with him, and all day long You are after the very same souls to take them with You?!”

He gave me the understanding of the reality of this truth. With determination and resoluteness, I said to Him, “I promise that from this day forth, every countenance my eyes see, I will TELL THEM ABOUT SALVATION!”

I don’t know what made me take out my garbage that next minute. When I arrived at the trash bins, I saw a young American man with red hair and a red beard throwing out his garbage. He seemed to be about nineteen or twenty years old. He was murmuring to himself. I looked at him and said, “Whatever you are murmuring about, have you talked to God about that?”

The young man looked at me and said, “How do I do that?” With much boldness in me, I said, “Would you like to kneel right here and give your life to Jesus?” He immediately said, “YES!” I prayed a simple prayer, as he prayed with me. He believed in Jesus and gave his life to Him. Jesus had taken me at my word and saved the first soul through His life in me.

It has been thirty-eight years since the day Jesus revealed Himself to me and told me He is the Son of God, who died on the Cross for my sins, taking me for Himself and giving me understanding about salvation in Him.

Since then, He has been saving souls through His life in me every week, one at a time. He is the soul Saviour! Glory to the Son of God, Jesus, The Messiah!

שאלתי את אלוהים – עדות

כשהייתי בערך בת עשרים, רציתי להקדיש את חיי לאלוהים. החלטתי להפוך לנזירה ולהיכנס למנזר. ביום בו תכננתי ללכת ולדבר עם הנזירות, איתן הייתי בקשר זמן רב קודם לכן, ניהלתי שיחה מעניינת עם אלוהים. המחשבות שמילאו אותי היו, “אלוהים, אני יכולה להתנהג כמו שצריך, אני יכולה להיות דתיה. אתה רואה את כפות ידי? אני יכולה לתת ולעזור. אתה רואה את הורידים בגב ידי? אני יכולה להיות דתייה. אבל, אם יש משהו מעבר לעשיית מעשים טובים ודת שיכול להוביל אותי אליך, אתה חייב להראות לי עכשיו מה זה, כי אני עומדת לצעוד לתוך המבנה הזה ולהתפלל לפסלים ולשחק עם חרוזים לכל שארית ימי חיי. אם אתה אלוהים, אל תשלח מישהו לדבר איתי. אל תשלח לי כומר או מורה”. נשאתי את עיניי לשמיים. נופפתי באצבעי והכרזתי בקול, “אם אתה אלוהים, תראה לי בעצמך!”

עוד לפני שסיימתי לומר את התפילה הזו, אהבה אדירה שטפה אותי מכף רגל ועד ראש. זה היה כל כך מוחשי, שפשוט נפלתי על הרצפה. גל של אהבה עטף אותי מכל עבר. דמעות תנין זלגו מעיניי כשהאהבה הזו מילאה אותי. כל החוויה הזו היתה יותר מכפי שיכולתי לשאת. לא יכולתי לדבר. פתאום מצאתי את עצמי מודעת בכל רמ”ח אברי לקיומו של אלוהים.

בין רגע, כל החטאים שחוללתי אי פעם מילדותי ועד אותה שנייה חלפו בדעתי. הכל קרה ממש מהר. בליבי שאלתי את אלוהים, “ראית את כל זה, וכל הזמן הזה גוננת ושמרת עלי?”

שמעתי אותו אומר לי, “זה הייתי אני”. אחרי הפוגה קלה, שוב שמעתי אותו אומר, “אני בן אלוהים”. ורגע לאחר מכן הוא המשיך ואמר, “אּני ישוע”. ושוב הפוגה. במהלך ההפוגות בין דבריו, ראיתי כמעין צל או דוגמית שלו כפי שהוא באמת. הוא שוב דיבר ואמר, “אין איש יכול לבוא אל האב אלא דרכי. אני מסרתי את חיי למוות על הצלב למענך”. מצד ימין שלי, במרחק מה, יכולתי לראות את הצל של הצלב. הוא המשיך ואמר, “שפכתי את דמי כדי לטהר אותך”. הוא פתח את יכולות הבנתי. “קלאודיה, את לא יכולה לקחת את ליבך, לעקור אותו ממקומו, לשטוף אותו בסבון ובמים, ואז להחזיר אותו למקום. אבל אני כן יכול לעשות את זה”.

באותו רגע הרגשתי שטיהור וזיכוך מתרחשים בתוך תוכי. הופרדתי מהעולם והובלתי אל נוכחותו. הרגשתי איך דרכי והלכי העולם סרים מעלי ממש באופן מוחשי. לא יכולתי לשאת אפילו את המחשבה שמדוחי העולם יגעו בי. עצם המחשבה על כך גרמה לי לרעוד מכף רגל ועד ראש. כהרף עין מצאתי את עצמי עטופה בטיהור וזיכוך כשמעטה של קדושה כיסה אותי מכל עבר.

בן אלוהים המשיך לעטוף אותי באהבתו, עד שהדבר היחיד שיכולתי לעשות היה לאהוב אותו בחזרה. כמו עיוורת, לא יכולתי לראות שום דבר אחר. הדבר היחיד שיכולתי לראות היה ישוע.

ישבתי על הרצפה כשדמעות תנין זולגות מעייני. אהבתו האדירה מילאה כל פינה בקרבי. אפילו הנשימות שנשמתי היו שלו, ורק שלו. הוא בא ונכנס לתוך ליבי בכוח אהבתו.

כשהוא סיים, קמתי מהרצפה בידיעה שלאלוהים יש בן, שקוראים לו ישוע, שאני לא יכולה להגיע אל האב אלא דרכו, ושהוא מת על הצלב כדי לשלם את מחיר חטאיי. ידעתי שאהבתו אדירה, נשגבת מעל לכל דבר אחר ביקום כולו. ישוע פקח את עיני הבנתי לראות שהוא מושיע נפשי.

חלפו מספר ימים, ובני משפחתי לא יכלו להבין את השינוי הדרמטי שהם ראו בי. היה ברור שאני לא אותו אדם שהייתי רק ימים קודם לכן. הם אמרו לי מפורשות שעלי לבחור בין האלוהים שלי, לאליל שלהם. נאלצתי לבחור בין ביתי ומשפחתי לבין אלוהיי. לפני שיכולתי אפילו לחשוב על כל המשתמע מכך, שמעתי שוב את קולו. הוא אמר, “קלאודיה, אין לך פה אפשרות בחירה. לא את בחרת בי. אני בחרתי בך. עכשיו קומי, ולכי”.

פגשתי אנשים שביקרו בקהילה וקראו בספר שנקרא ספר הכתובים. עד מהרה, השגתי גם אני עותק של הספר שכלל את התנ”ך והברית החדשה, והתחלתי לקרוא בו. אמרתי לאלוהים, “הספר שלך לא מוצא חן בעיניי. הוא מלא בכל כך הרבה רוע ורשעה, רציחות, עריפת ראשים והצגתם לעיני כל, אינוס, גילוי עריות, מלחמות, מיתות נוראיות. לא, הספר הזה ממש, אבל ממש, לא מוצא חן בעיניי!”

לפתע שמעתי את הקול של אותו האחד שהתגלה לי תקופה קצרה קודם לכן. הוא דיבר ואמר, “הספר הזה עוסק בישועה. אין איש יכול לבוא אל האב אלא דרכי, וכל מי שלא יבוא אל האב דרכי, סופו להגיע לגהינום”. היה לי מאוד קשה עם הרעיון הזה. “רגע”, אמרתי, “אתה לא רציני. זו חייבת להיות טעות. יש אנשים טובים, אנשים שעוזרים לאחרים, אלה שעוזרים לעניים ולנזקקים. מה איתם?” הוא השיב, “הספר הזה עוסק בישועה. אין איש יכול לבוא אל האב אלא דרכי, וכל מי שלא יבוא אל האב דרכי, סופו להגיע לגהינום”. המשכתי להתווכח איתו. “זו חייבת להיות טעות. מה עם כל האנשים הטובים בעולם?” ושוב, בפעם השלישית, הוא ענה ואמר, “אני בן אלוהים. אין איש יכול לבוא אל האב אלא דרכי, וכל מי שלא יבוא אל האב דרכי, סופו להגיע לגהינום”.

כשהוא דיבר בפעם השלישית, הוא הראה לי חשיכה. החשיכה הזו היתה מורכבת מישויות שעופפו מצד לצד ללא הפסקה. הוא הוביל אותי להבין שהישויות האלה מקורן בגהינום. בהלם טוטאלי, שאלתי אותו, “אתה רוצה להגיד לי שהישויות האלה הן מהגהינום? שהשטן הוא אמיתי? שכל היום הוא נמצא בחיפוש מתמיד אחר נפשות אותן הוא יכול לקחת לגהינום איתו, ושכל היום אתה נמצא בחיפוש מתמיד אחר אותן נפשות כדי לקחת אותן איתך?!”

הוא איפשר לי להבין את המציאות של האמת הזו. בנחישות ובנחרצות, אמרתי לו, “מהיום ואילך, לכל מי שיקרה בדרכי, אני מתחייבת לספר על ישועתך! אני מבטיחה לך!”

אני לא יודעת מה גרם לי לקחת את הזבל לפח האשפה דקה לאחר מכן. כשהגעתי לפח הזבל, ראיתי שם בחור צעיר, שיצא גם הוא לזרוק את הזבל. הוא נראה כבן תשע עשרה או עשרים. הוא מלמל לעצמו בשקט. הסתכלתי עליו ואמרתי, “עם אלוהים דיברת על מה שאתה ממלמל לעצמך?”

הוא הסתכל עליו ואמר, “איך אני יכול לעשות את זה?” תעוזה אדירה מילאה אותי. אמרתי לו, “אתה רוצה לכרוע ברך ממש כאן ועכשיו ולתת את חייך לישוע?” הוא מיד ענה, “כן!” בקול שאינו משתמע לשתי פנים. נשאתי תפילה פשוטה, והוא התפלל יחד איתי. הוא האמין בישוע ונתן לו את חייו שם ליד פחי הזבל. ישוע לקח את ההבטחה שלי ברצינות והושיע את האדם הראשון שסיפרתי לו אודותיו ועל החיים שלו בקרבי.

שלושים ושמונה שנים חלפו מאז היום שבו ישוע נגלה לי לראשונה ואמר לי שהוא בן אלוהים, שהוא מת על הצלב בעבור חטאיי, לקח אותי להיות שלו, ופקח את עיני הבנתי לדעת מהי ישועה בו ודרכו.

מאז, מדי שבוע הוא מושיע נפשות באמצעות חייו ששופעים בקרבי. הוא מושיע הנפשות! כבוד, הדר ותפארת לבן אלוהים, ישוע, המשיח!

Let Me Tell You about the Cross, Rabbi | תרשה לי לספר לך על הצלב, אדוני הרב

And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews. (John 19:19)

On one of our trips to Israel, my husband was asked to be interviewed by one of the top radio personalities. After the interview was over another interview was scheduled with a radio strategist. We were asked to go to a room to meet with him.

During the interview with the strategist, a Rabbi walked in with another man. The Rabbi started to prepare some soup, as he talked with the other man. I overheard him mention the word ‘’Gods.” This caught my attention. I turned around and said to the Rabbi, “Gods?” He ignored me. So I simply turned my attention back to the interview.

My husband noticed this, stopped talking with the interviewer, looked at the Rabbi and then me, and said, “What was that you said, Claudia?”

My husband was now getting the Rabbi’s attention. And I knew that my husband was opening the opportunity for me to talk to the Rabbi, because he knew that I would tell him about Jesus. I looked at my husband. With a smile, he encouraged me to jump in and take the opportunity. I was not sure what to say. I had to take courage.

I turned and looked at the Rabbi, who with a stick was stirring the soup in his cup. I said, “I heard you say Gods.”

Without looking at me, he said, “Yes?”

I then began telling him, “I have been walking this land for several years now, and every time that I come to Israel, I notice that there are so many gods everywhere. There is this kabbala hand and evil-eye idols in almost every restaurant, home, and hotel, and people are wearing them as charms on their jewelry. They are everywhere.”

He responded, “That’s nothing.”

I sternly looked at him, “Nothing, Rabbi! What do you mean, nothing?! Are you calling me a liar Rabbi?!” He did not answer. I continued, “People are trusting in these idols to answer their prayers, to have good jobs, to keep their families safe, to give them success, and for everything else they are hoping for.”

“Tell me something, Rabbi. I have been reading the Old Testament. I learned that God would raise up a king and give him victory over the enemies of Israel and give him blessings, but not all the victory and not all the blessings, because there was one thing that God told the king to do, but he did not do it. So, God would raise up another king. He would also give him victory over Israel’s enemies and give him blessings, but not all the victory and not all the blessings, because God also told him to do one thing, and he, too, did not do that one thing that God told him to do. So, God raised up a third king. God gave him victory over Israel’s enemies and blessings, but not all the victory and not all the blessings, because he, as well, did not do the one thing that God had told him to do. Do you know what that one thing was, Rabbi, that God told them to do that each one did not do?”

He stirred his soup, “No.”

I continued, “He told each one of them to get rid of all the idols and to worship only Him.”

He stirred his soup, looking at me; he challenged me, “What about the cross? Some people think that is an idol.”

He kept looking at his soup, waiting for my response.

“Oh, the cross, Rabbi, let me tell you about the cross, Rabbi!”

I began to share with him, “When I toured the Holocaust museum in Israel, the first thing that I saw when I entered was this hideous character holding up a cross as a threat in front of a Jewish man.

“Rabbi, do you know who the devil is? He is an angel that God created. He looked at his beautiful form and said, “Look at me. I am handsome and intelligent; I will be God!” And God casted him out of heaven, into a place called hell. Now what did this devil use against the Jews in the Holocaust? The cross, Rabbi. And what did he use against the Jews in the Inquisition, where my family’s heritage is from? The cross, Rabbi.

“What about the cross, Rabbi? It is on what the Son of the God of Israel laid Himself on, for your sins and mine. What about the cross, Rabbi? It is where the blood of the sacrificial Lamb of God, His Son, a Jew, gave His life for you to be in heaven.

“That is why the devil used the cross, because it is the only way to heaven. This is the enemy of Israel’s work, because if there is one thing he does not want, it is for a Jew to believe in the Son of God, through whom is the only way to heaven to be with the Father.

“No more sheep, nor more goats, Rabbi, but blood of the Son of God, the sacrificial Lamb of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who laid His life on the cross for you and all the Jews. Dare not think of the cross, Rabbi!”

The Rabbi was silenced. He put down his cup of soup and put his hands in his pockets. With a sober look and voice, he said, “This is powerful stuff, powerful.”

“Yes, it is, Rabbi; yes, it is!”

“Abba! Father! How wondrous was the cross of Your sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ, for the sins of the world. There would be no way to You had it not been for the cross! Israel is where Your Son laid Himself on the cross. Israel is where He died. Israel is where He rose from the dead. Israel is where He will return. Messiah, Save the Jews, Your chosen people to be a royal priesthood unto You! Save Your own, Messiah—the ones You chose to tell of You to the world! Jesus, Son of the living God, reveal Yourself to them in Your love and truth! Abba, Lord, send Your laborers, by Your Spirit, to reap the souls of the Jews!”

באחד הביקורים שלנו בישראל, בעלי הוזמן לראיון באחת מתוכניות הרדיו הפופולריות. אחרי הראיון, ביקשו מאיתנו לסור לחדר אחר כדי לארגן ראיון נוסף עם שדרן רדיו אחר.

במהלך השיחה שלנו איתו, נכנסו לחדר שני גברים, אחד מהם רב. השניים עמדו בצד החדר ושוחחו בשעה שהרבי חימם לעצמו קצת מרק. שמעתי אותו אומר את המילה “אֶלים”. זה עורר את תשומת ליבי. פניתי לעברו ואמרתי לו, “אלים”? הוא התעלם ממני לחלוטין. אז הסתובבתי חזרה והקדשתי את תשומת ליבי למראיין שדיברנו איתו.

בעלי הבחין במתרחש, עצר את השיחה עם המראיין, הסתכל על הרבי, ואז עלי, ואמר, “מה אמרת, קלאודיה?”

בעלי משך עכשיו את תשומת ליבו של הרבי. ידעתי שבעלי סיפק לי פה הזדמנות לדבר עם אותו רב, כי הוא ידע שאני אספר לו על ישוע. הסתכלתי על בעלי. עם חיוך הוא עודד אותי לקפוץ על ההזדמנות. לא הייתי בטוחה מה לומר. לקחתי נשימה עמוקה, ופניתי אל הרבי.

הוא עמד בצד וערבב את המרק שלו. אמרתי לו, “שמעתי אותך אומר ‘אלים’, ברבים”.

מבלי להביט לעברי, הוא אמר, “כן, נו, אז מה?”

אז השבתי לו, “מזה כבר כמה שנים אני באה לבקר בארץ הזו, ובכל פעם שאני מבקרת בישראל, אני שמה לב שיש פה כל כך הרבה אלילים בכל מקום. בכל פינה מוצאים עדויות לקבלה, לקמעות ולאלילים נגד עין הרע – כמעט בכל מסעדה, בית, ומלון. אנשים אפילו עונדים את הקמעות האלה כתכשיטים. הם נמצאים בכל מקום”.

הוא השיב, “אוי, את מדברת שטויות”.

הסתכלתי עליו בהלם. “שטויות, רבי? מה זאת אומרת, שטויות?! אתה קורא לי שקרנית?!” הוא לא ענה. המשכתי. “אנשים שמים את מבטחם באלילים האלה וחושבים שיש בהם כוח לענות על התפילות שלהם – תפילות למציאת עבודה, הגנה על בני המשפחה שלהם, הצלחה ושגשוג, וכל דבר אחר שרק עולה על דעתם.

“תגיד לי משהו, רבי. אני קוראת בתנ”ך. התנ”ך מלמד שאלוהים יקים מלך, יספק לו ניצחון על אויביו וירעיף עליו אינספור ברכות. אבל הניצחון לא היה מושלם, ולא כל הברכות היו מנת חלקו – כי היה דבר אחד שאלוהים הורה לו למלך לעשות, אבל הוא לא עשה כמצוות אלוהים. אז אלוהים הקים מלך אחר. גם אותו הוא ברך בניצחון על אויבי ישראל והרעיף עליו ברכות מברכות שונות. אבל לא כל הברכות והניצחונות היו מנת חלקו גם של מלך זה. כי אלוהים הורה לו לעשות דבר אחד, והוא, כמו קודמו, לא עשה כמצוות אלוהים. אז אלוהים הקים מלך שלישי. וגם אותו הוא ברך בניצחון על אויבי ישראל והרעיף עליו ברכות מברכות שונות. אבל גם במקרה הזה לא כל הברכות והניצחונות היו מנת חלקו של המלך, כי גם הוא לא מילא אחר מצוותו של אלוהים. אתה יודע על איזו מצווה אני מדברת, אדוני הרב? מה אלוהים אמר להם לעשות ואף אחד מהם לא עשה?”

הוא ערבב את המרק שלו ואמר, “לא”.

המשכתי, “הוא הורה לכל אחד מהם בתורו להפטר מהפסילים ואלילי הנכר ולעבוד רק אותו”.

הוא המשיך לערבב את המרק שלו, והביט אלי; הוא התריס בפני ואמר, “ומה לגבי הצלב? יש מי שחושבים שהצלב הוא גם אליל”.

הוא המשיך להביט על המרק שלו, מחכה לשמוע את תשובתי.

“הצלב? תרשה לי לספר לך על הצלב, אדוני הרב!”

התחלתי לספר לו. “כשביקרתי במוזיאון יד ושם, הדבר הראשון שראיתי כשנכנסתי למקום היה תמונה של מפלצת שהחזיק בידיו צלב ונופף בעברו לעבר גבר יהודי לאות איום.

“רבי, אתה יודע מי הוא השטן? הוא מלאך שאלוהים ברא. הוא הביט על יפי תארו ואמר, ‘תראו אותי. אני יפה תואר וחכם; אני אהיה אלוהים!’ ואלוהים השליך אותו מהשמים, למקום שנקרא גהינום. אז במה השטן הזה השתמש כנגד יהודים במהלך השואה? בצלב. ובמה הוא השתמש כנגד היהודים במהלך האינקוויזיציה הספרדית, וזה, דרך אגב, כבר משהו שנוגע במשפחה שלי באופן אישי? בצלב.

“מה לגבי הצלב, רבי? מהו הצלב? בן אלוהי ישראל מסר את עצמו למוות על הצלב, כדי לשלם את מחיר החטאים שלך ושלי. מה עם הצלב, רבי? על הצלב נשפך דם הקורבן של שה האלוהים, בן אלוהים, שהיה יהודי. הוא מסר את חייו כדי לסלול את הדרך שתאפשר לך להיכנס לגן עדן ולנהל מערכת יחסים עם האב.

“לא עוד כבשים, או עיזים, אלא דמו של בן אלוהים, שה הקורבן של אלוהי אברהם, יצחק ויעקב שמסר את חייו על הצלב עבורך ועבור כל היהודים באשר הם. אל תחשוב אפילו על הצלב כעל עבודה זרה, רבי!”

הוא עמד בשקט כמה דקות. הוא הניח את המרק שלו על הדלפק. שם את ידיו בכיסיו, ובמבט מפוקח וקול צלול אמר, “סיפקת לי הרבה חומר למחשבה. יש המון אמת ועוצמה בדברים שאמרת”.

“כן, אדוני הרב; כן, בהחלט!”

אבא שבשמים, כמה נפלא ומיוחד הוא הצלב של שה הקורבן שלך, ישוע המשיח, שמסר את חייו ככפרה על חטאי כל העולם. אבא, לולא הצלב לא היתה דרך כלשהי שתאפשר לנו לבוא אליך. להיות שלך. בישראל הוא מת. בישראל הוא קם מן המתים. לישראל הוא ישוב. משיח, הושע את היהודים, את בני עמך הנבחר שנקראו להיות ממלכת כהנים וגוי קדוש לתפארת שמך! הושע את השייכים לך, ישוע – את אלה שבחרת כדי שיכריזו את שמך ויספרו אודותיך לעולם! ישוע, בן אלוהים חיים, גלה להם את עצמך באהבתך ואמיתך! אבא, אלוהים, שלח את הפועלים שלך, ברוח קודשך, לפעול בשדות היהודים ולהוביל נפשות אליך!”

Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour. And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

הִנֵּ֥ה יֽוֹם־בָּ֖א לַיהֹוָ֑ה וְחֻלַּ֥ק שְׁלָלֵ֖ךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ: וְאָֽסַפְתִּ֨י אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֥ם | אֶֽל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִַם֘ לַמִּלְחָמָה֒ וְנִלְכְּדָ֣ה הָעִ֗יר וְנָשַׁ֙סּוּ֙ הַבָּ֣תִּ֔ים וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים תִּשָּׁכַ֑בְנָה (כתיב תִּשָּׁגַ֑לְנָה) וְיָצָ֞א חֲצִ֚י הָעִיר֙ בַּגּוֹלָ֔ה וְיֶ֣תֶר הָעָ֔ם לֹ֥א יִכָּרֵ֖ת מִן־הָעִֽיר: וְיָצָ֣א יְהֹוָ֔ה וְנִלְחַ֖ם בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם הָהֵ֑ם כְּי֥וֹם הִלָּֽחֲמ֖וֹ בְּי֥וֹם קְרָֽב:

וְהָיָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא תִּֽהְיֶ֧ה מְהֽוּמַת־יְהֹוָ֛ה רַבָּ֖ה בָּהֶ֑ם וְהֶחֱזִ֗יקוּ אִישׁ יַ֣ד רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְעָֽלְתָ֥ה יָד֖וֹ עַל־יַ֥ד רֵעֵֽהוּ: וְגַ֨ם־יְהוּדָ֔ה תִּלָּחֵ֖ם בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְאֻסַּף֩ חֵ֨יל כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֜ם סָבִ֗יב זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֛סֶף וּבְגָדִ֖ים לָרֹ֥ב מְאֹֽד: וְכֵ֨ן תִּֽהְיֶ֜ה מַגֵּפַ֣ת הַסּ֗וּס הַפֶּ֙רֶד֙ הַגָּמָ֣ל וְהַֽחֲמ֔וֹר וְכָ֨ל־הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִֽהְיֶ֖ה בַּמַּֽחֲנ֣וֹת הָהֵ֑מָּה כַּמַּגֵּפָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת: וְהָיָ֗ה כָּל־הַנּוֹתָר֙ מִכָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַבָּאִ֖ים עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְעָל֞וּ מִדֵּ֧י שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֗ה לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲו‍ֹת֙ לְמֶ֙לֶךְ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וְלָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת:
וְ֠הָיָה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יַֽעֲלֶ֜ה מֵאֵ֨ת מִשְׁפְּח֚וֹת הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם לְהִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲו‍ֹ֔ת לְמֶ֖לֶךְ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וְלֹ֥א עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם יִהְיֶ֥ה הַגָּֽשֶׁם: וְאִם־מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת מִצְרַ֧יִם לֹא־תַֽעֲלֶ֛ה וְלֹ֥א בָאָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִגֹּ֚ף יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת: זֹ֥את תִּֽהְיֶ֖ה חַטַּ֣את מִצְרָ֑יִם וְחַטַּאת֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת:

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ עַל־מְצִלּ֣וֹת הַסּ֔וּס קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֚ה הַסִּירוֹת֙ בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֔ה כַּמִּזְרָקִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ: וְ֠הָיָה כָּל־סִ֨יר בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם וּבִֽיהוּדָ֗ה קֹדֶשׁ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וּבָ֙אוּ֙ כָּל־הַזֹּ֣בְחִ֔ים וְלָֽקְח֥וּ מֵהֶ֖ם וּבִשְּׁל֣וּ בָהֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֨ה כְנַֽעֲנִ֥י ע֛וֹד בְּבֵית־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא:

ישעיהו ב / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 2:1-2

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

וְהָיָ֣ה אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן אֶשְׁפּ֚וֹךְ אֶת־רוּחִי֙ עַל־כָּל־בָּשָׂ֔ר וְנִבְּא֖וּ בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם וּבְנֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם זִקְנֵיכֶם֙ חֲלֹמ֣וֹת יַֽחֲלֹמ֔וּן בַּח֣וּרֵיכֶ֔ם חֶזְיֹנ֖וֹת יִרְאֽוּ: וְגַ֥ם עַל־הָֽעֲבָדִ֖ים וְעַל־הַשְּׁפָח֑וֹת בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔מָּה אֶשְׁפּ֖וֹךְ אֶת־רוּחִֽי:

וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ מֽוֹפְתִ֔ים בַּשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּבָאָ֑רֶץ דָּ֣ם וָאֵ֔שׁ וְתִֽימְר֖וֹת עָשָֽׁן: הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ יֵהָפֵ֣ךְ לְחֹ֔שֶׁךְ וְהַיָּרֵ֖חַ לְדָ֑ם לִפְנֵ֗י בּוֹא י֣וֹם יְהֹוָ֔ה הַגָּד֖וֹל וְהַנּוֹרָֽא: וְהָיָ֗ה כֹּ֧ל אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֛א בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָ֖ה יִמָּלֵ֑ט כִּ֠י בְּהַר־צִיּ֨וֹן וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה פְלֵיטָ֗ה כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה וּבַ֨שְּׂרִידִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה קֹרֵֽא:

כִּ֗י הִנֵּ֛ה בַּיָּמִ֥ים הָהֵ֖מָּה וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָשִׁ֛יב (כתיב אָשִׁ֛וב) אֶת־שְׁב֥וּת יְהוּדָ֖ה וִירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם: וְקִבַּצְתִּי֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְה֣וֹרַדְתִּ֔ים אֶל־עֵ֖מֶק יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֑ט וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֨י עִמָּ֜ם שָׁ֗ם עַל־עַמִּ֨י וְנַֽחֲלָתִ֚י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר פִּזְּר֣וּ בַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאֶת־אַרְצִ֖י חִלֵּֽקוּ:

זכריה יב / Zecharya / Zechariah 12

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.

In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

מַשָּׂ֥א דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֗ה נֹטֶ֚ה שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְיֹסֵ֣ד אָ֔רֶץ וְיֹצֵ֥ר רֽוּחַ־אָדָ֖ם בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ:
הִנֵּ֣ה אָ֠נֹכִי שָׂ֣ם אֶת־יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֧ם סַף־רַ֛עַל לְכָל־הָֽעַמִּ֖ים סָבִ֑יב וְגַ֧ם עַל־יְהוּדָ֛ה יִֽהְיֶ֥ה בַמָּצ֖וֹר עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם: וְהָיָ֣ה בַיּֽוֹם־הַ֠הוּא אָשִׂ֨ים אֶת־יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם אֶ֚בֶן מַֽעֲמָסָה֙ לְכָל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים כָּל־עֹֽמְסֶ֖יהָ שָׂר֣וֹט יִשָּׂרֵ֑טוּ וְנֶֽאֶסְפ֣וּ עָלֶ֔יה כֹּ֖ל גּוֹיֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ: בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֗ה אַכֶּ֚ה כָל־סוּס֙ בַּתִּמָּה֔וֹן וְרֹֽכְב֖וֹ בַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹן וְעַל־בֵּ֚ית יְהוּדָה֙ אֶפְקַ֣ח אֶת־עֵינַ֔י וְכֹל֙ ס֣וּס הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אַכֶּ֖ה בַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן: וְאָֽמְר֛וּ אַלֻּפֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה בְּלִבָּ֑ם אַמְצָ֥ה לִי֙ יֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם בַּֽיהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם: בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֡וּא אָשִׂים֩ אֶת־אַלֻּפֵ֨י יְהוּדָ֜ה כְּֽכִיּ֧וֹר אֵ֣שׁ בְּעֵצִ֗ים וּכְלַפִּ֥יד אֵשׁ֙ בְּעָמִ֔יר וְאָֽ֨כְל֜וּ עַל־יָמִ֧ין וְעַל־שְׂמֹ֛אול אֶת־כָּל־הָֽעַמִּ֖ים סָבִ֑יב וְיָֽשְׁבָ֨ה יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֥ם ע֛וֹד תַּחְתֶּ֖יהָ בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם:
וְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶת־אָֽהֳלֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה בָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֑ה לְמַ֨עַן לֹֽא־תִגְדַּ֜ל תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת בֵּֽית־דָּוִ֗יד וְתִפְאֶ֛רֶת ישֵׁ֥ב יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עַל־יְהוּדָֽה: בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יָגֵ֚ן יְהֹוָה֙ בְּעַד֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְהָיָ֞ה הַנִּכְשָׁ֥ל בָּהֶ֛ם בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא כְּדָוִ֑יד וּבֵ֚ית דָּוִיד֙ כֵּֽאלֹהִ֔ים כְּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהֹוָ֖ה לִפְנֵיהֶֽם: וְהָיָ֖ה בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא אֲבַקֵּ֗שׁ לְהַשְׁמִיד֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַבָּאִ֖ים עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם:

וְשָׁפַכְתִּי֩ עַל־בֵּ֨ית דָּוִ֜יד וְעַ֣ל | יוֹשֵׁ֣ב יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֗םִ ר֚וּחַ חֵן֙ וְתַ֣חֲנוּנִ֔ים וְהִבִּ֥יטוּ אֵלַ֖י אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־דָּקָ֑רוּ וְסָֽפְד֣וּ עָלָ֗יו כְּמִסְפֵּד֙ עַל־הַיָּחִ֔יד וְהָמֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו כְּהָמֵ֥ר עַֽל־הַבְּכֽוֹר: בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִגְדַּ֚ל הַמִּסְפֵּד֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם כְּמִסְפַּ֥ד הֲדַדְרִמּ֖וֹן בְּבִקְעַ֥ת מְגִדּֽוֹן: וְסָֽפְדָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ מִשְׁפָּח֥וֹת מִשְׁפָּח֖וֹת לְבָ֑ד מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת בֵּֽית־דָּוִ֚יד לְבָד֙ וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֣ם לְבָ֔ד מִשְׁפַּ֚חַת בֵּֽית־נָתָן֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד: מִשְׁפַּ֚חַת בֵּֽית־לֵוִי֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָ֑ד מִשְׁפַּ֚חַת הַשִּׁמְעִי֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד: כֹּ֗ל הַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹת֙ הַנִּשְׁאָר֔וֹת מִשְׁפָּחֹ֥ת מִשְׁפָּחֹ֖ת לְבָ֑ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד:

זכריה יג / Zecharya / Zechariah 13

In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ מָק֣וֹר נִפְתָּ֔ח לְבֵ֥ית דָּוִ֖יד וּלְיֹֽשְׁבֵ֣י יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם לְחַטַּ֖את וּלְנִדָּֽה:

וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻ֣ם | יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אַכְרִ֞ית אֶת־שְׁמ֚וֹת הָֽעֲצַבִּים֙ מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹ֥א יִזָּֽכְר֖וּ ע֑וֹד וְגַ֧ם אֶת־הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים וְאֶת־ר֥וּחַ הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה אַֽעֲבִ֥יר מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ: וְהָיָ֗ה כִּֽי־יִנָּבֵ֣א אִישׁ֘ עוֹד֒ וְאָֽמְר֣וּ אֵ֠לָיו אָבִ֨יו וְאִמּ֚וֹ יֹֽלְדָיו֙ לֹ֣א תִֽחְיֶ֔ה כִּ֛י שֶׁ֥קֶר דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהֹוָ֑ה וּדְקָרֻ֜הוּ אָבִ֧יהוּ וְאִמּ֛וֹ יֹֽלְדָ֥יו בְּהִנָּֽבְאֽוֹ: וְהָיָ֣ה | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵבֹ֧שׁוּ הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים אִ֥ישׁ מֵֽחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹ בְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹ וְלֹ֧א יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ אַדֶּ֥רֶת שֵׂעָ֖ר לְמַ֥עַן כַּחֵֽשׁ: וְאָמַ֕ר לֹ֥א נָבִ֖יא אָנֹ֑כִי אִ֣ישׁ־עֹבֵ֚ד אֲדָמָה֙ אָנֹ֔כִי כִּֽי־אָדָ֖ם הִקְנַ֥נִי מִנְּעוּרָֽי: וְאָמַ֣ר אֵלָ֔יו מָ֧ה הַמַּכּ֛וֹת הָאֵ֖לֶּה בֵּ֣ין יָדֶ֑יךָ וְאָמַ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֻכֵּ֖יתִי בֵּ֥ית מְאַֽהֲבָֽי:

חֶ֗רֶב עוּרִ֚י עַל־רֹעִי֙ וְעַל־גֶּ֣בֶר עֲמִיתִ֔י נְאֻ֖ם יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת הַ֚ךְ אֶת־הָֽרֹעֶה֙ וּתְפוּצֶ֣יןָ הַצֹּ֔אן וַֽהֲשִֽׁבֹתִ֥י יָדִ֖י עַל־הַצֹּֽעֲרִֽים: וְהָיָ֚ה בְכָל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה פִּֽי־שְׁנַ֣יִם בָּ֔הּ יִכָּֽרְת֖וּ יִגְוָ֑עוּ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית יִוָּ֥תֶר בָּֽהּ: וְהֵֽבֵאתִ֚י אֶת־הַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ בָּאֵ֔שׁ וּצְרַפְתִּים֙ כִּצְרֹ֣ף אֶת־הַכֶּ֔סֶף וּבְחַנְתִּ֖ים כִּבְחֹ֣ן אֶת־הַזָּהָ֑ב ה֣וּא | יִקְרָ֣א בִשְׁמִ֗י וַֽאֲנִי אֶֽעֱנֶ֣ה אֹת֔וֹ אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ עַמִּ֣י ה֔וּא וְה֥וּא יֹאמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽי:

וְעָֽמְד֣וּ רַגְלָ֣יו בַּיּֽוֹם־הַ֠הוּא עַל־הַ֨ר הַזֵּיתִ֜ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י יְרֽוּשָׁלִַם֘ מִקֶּדֶם֒ וְנִבְקַע֩ הַ֨ר הַזֵּיתִ֚ים מֵֽחֶצְיוֹ֙ מִזְרָ֣חָה וָיָ֔מָּה גֵּ֖יא גְּדוֹלָ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד וּמָ֨שׁ חֲצִ֥י הָהָ֛ר צָפ֖וֹנָה וְחֶצְיוֹ־נֶֽגְבָּה: וְנַסְתֶּ֣ם גֵּֽיא־הָרַ֗י כִּֽי־יַגִּ֣יעַ גֵּֽי־הָרִים֘ אֶל־אָצַל֒ וְנַסְתֶּ֗ם כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֚ר נַסְתֶּם֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הָרַ֔עַשׁ בִּימֵ֖י עֻזִּיָּ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֑ה וּבָא֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔י כָּל־קְדֹשִׁ֖ים עִמָּֽךְ:
וְהָיָ֖ה בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא לֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֣ה א֔וֹר יְקָר֖וֹת וְקִפָּאֽוֹן (כתיב יְקִפָּאֽוֹן) : וְהָיָ֣ה יֽוֹם־אֶחָ֗ד ה֛וּא יִוָּדַ֥ע לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה לֹא־י֣וֹם וְלֹא־לָ֑יְלָה וְהָיָ֥ה לְעֵֽת־עֶ֖רֶב יִֽהְיֶה־אֽוֹר: וְהָיָ֣ה | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵֽצְא֚וּ מַֽיִם־חַיִּים֙ מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם חֶצְיָ֗ם אֶל־הַיָּם֙ הַקַּדְמוֹנִ֔י וְחֶצְיָ֖ם אֶל־הַיָּ֣ם הָאַֽחֲר֑וֹן בַּקַּ֥יִץ וּבַחֹ֖רֶף יִֽהְיֶֽה: וְהָיָ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה לְמֶ֖לֶךְ עַל־כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶחָ֖ד וּשְׁמ֥וֹ אֶחָֽד: יִסּ֨וֹב כָּל־הָאָ֚רֶץ כָּֽעֲרָבָה֙ מִגֶּ֣בַע לְרִמּ֔וֹן נֶ֖גֶב יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְֽרָֽאֲמָה֩ וְיָֽשְׁבָ֨ה תַחְתֶּ֜יהָ לְמִשַּׁ֣עַר בִּנְיָמִ֗ן עַד־מְק֞וֹם שַׁ֚עַר הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ עַד־שַׁ֣עַר הַפִּנִּ֔ים וּמִגְדַּ֣ל חֲנַנְאֵ֔ל עַ֖ד יִקְבֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ: וְיָ֣שְׁבוּ בָ֔הּ וְחֵ֖רֶם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֑וֹד וְיָֽשְׁבָ֥ה יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם לָבֶֽטַח:

וְהָיָ֗ה כָּל־הַנּוֹתָר֙ מִכָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַבָּאִ֖ים עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְעָל֞וּ מִדֵּ֧י שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֗ה לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲו‍ֹת֙ לְמֶ֙לֶךְ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וְלָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת: וְ֠הָיָה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יַֽעֲלֶ֜ה מֵאֵ֨ת מִשְׁפְּח֚וֹת הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם לְהִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲו‍ֹ֔ת לְמֶ֖לֶךְ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וְלֹ֥א עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם יִהְיֶ֥ה הַגָּֽשֶׁם: וְאִם־מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת מִצְרַ֧יִם לֹא־תַֽעֲלֶ֛ה וְלֹ֥א בָאָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִגֹּ֚ף יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת: זֹ֥את תִּֽהְיֶ֖ה חַטַּ֣את מִצְרָ֑יִם וְחַטַּאת֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת:

And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר: בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם שִׂ֚ים פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ אֶל־גּוֹג֙ אֶ֣רֶץ הַמָּג֔וֹג נְשִׂ֕יא רֹ֖אשׁ מֶ֣שֶׁךְ וְתֻבָ֑ל וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עָלָֽיו:

וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הִֽנְנִ֚י אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ גּ֔וֹג נְשִׂ֕יא רֹ֖אשׁ מֶ֥שֶׁךְ וְתֻבָֽל: וְשׁ֣וֹבַבְתִּ֔יךָ וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י חַחִ֖ים בִּלְחָיֶ֑יךָ וְהֽוֹצֵאתִי֩ אֽוֹתְךָ֙ וְאֶת־כָּל־חֵילֶ֜ךָ סוּסִ֣ים וּפָֽרָשִׁ֗ים לְבֻשֵׁ֚י מִכְלוֹל֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם קָהָ֥ל רָב֙ צִנָּ֣ה וּמָגֵ֔ן תֹּֽפְשֵׂ֥י חֲרָב֖וֹת כֻּלָּֽם: פָּרַ֛ס כּ֥וּשׁ וּפ֖וּט אִתָּ֑ם כֻּלָּ֖ם מָגֵ֥ן וְכוֹבָֽע: גֹּמֶר וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּ֔יהָ בֵּית תּֽוֹגַרְמָ֔ה יַרְכְּתֵ֥י צָפ֖וֹן וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲגַפָּ֑יו עַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אִתָּֽךְ: הִכֹּן֙ וְהָכֵ֣ן לְךָ֔ אַתָּ֕ה וְכָל־קְהָלֶ֖ךָ הַנִּקְהָלִ֣ים עָלֶ֑יךָ וְהָיִ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם לְמִשְׁמָֽר:
מִיָּמִ֣ים רַבִּים֘ תִּפָּקֵד֒ בְּאַֽחֲרִ֨ית הַשָּׁנִ֜ים תָּב֣וֹא | אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ | מְשׁוֹבֶ֣בֶת מֵחֶ֗רֶב מְקֻבֶּ֙צֶת֙ מֵעַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים עַל הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁר־הָי֥וּ לְחָרְבָּ֖ה תָּמִ֑יד וְהִיא֙ מֵֽעַמִּ֣ים הוּצָ֔אָה וְיָֽשְׁב֥וּ לָבֶ֖טַח כֻּלָּֽם: וְעָלִ֙יתָ֙ כַּשּׁוֹאָ֣ה תָב֔וֹא כֶּֽעָנָ֛ן לְכַסּ֥וֹת הָאָ֖רֶץ תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה אַתָּה֙ וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּ֔יךָ וְעַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אוֹתָֽךְ:

כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה וְהָיָ֣ה | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יַֽעֲל֚וּ דְבָרִים֙ עַל־לְבָבֶ֔ךָ וְחָֽשַׁבְתָּ֖ מַֽחֲשֶׁ֥בֶת רָעָֽה: וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ אֶֽעֱלֶה֙ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ פְּרָז֔וֹת אָבוֹא֙ הַשֹּׁ֣קְטִ֔ים יֹֽשְׁבֵ֖י לָבֶ֑טַח כֻּלָּ֗ם יֹֽשְׁבִים֙ בְּאֵ֣ין חוֹמָ֔ה וּבְרִ֥יחַ וּדְלָתַ֖יִם אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם: לִשְׁלֹ֥ל שָׁלָ֖ל וְלָבֹ֣ז בַּ֑ז לְהָשִׁ֨יב יָדְךָ֜ עַל־חֳרָב֣וֹת נֽוֹשָׁב֗וֹת וְאֶל־עַם֙ מְאֻסָּ֣ף מִגּוֹיִ֔ם עֹשֶׂה֙ מִקְנֶ֣ה וְקִנְיָ֔ן יֹֽשְׁבֵ֖י עַל־טַבּ֥וּר הָאָֽרֶץ: שְׁבָ֡א וּ֠דְדָן וְסֹֽחֲרֵ֨י תַרְשִׁ֚ישׁ וְכָל־כְּפִירֶ֙יהָ֙ יֹֽאמְר֣וּ לְךָ֔ הֲלִשְׁלֹ֚ל שָׁלָל֙ אַתָּ֣ה בָ֔א הֲלָבֹ֥ז בַּ֖ז הִקְהַ֣לְתָּ קְהָלֶ֑ךָ לָשֵׂ֣את | כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֗ב לָקַ֙חַת֙ מִקְנֶ֣ה וְקִנְיָ֔ן לִשְׁלֹ֖ל שָׁלָ֥ל גָּדֽוֹל:

לָכֵן֙ הִנָּבֵ֣א בֶן־אָדָ֔ם וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֣ לְג֔וֹג כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הֲל֣וֹא | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא בְּשֶׁ֨בֶת עַמִּ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לָבֶ֖טַח תֵּדָֽע: וּבָ֚אתָ מִמְּקֽוֹמְךָ֙ מִיַּרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפ֔וֹן אַתָּ֕ה וְעַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אִתָּ֑ךְ רֹֽכְבֵ֚י סוּסִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם קָהָ֥ל גָּד֖וֹל וְחַ֥יִל רָֽב: וְעָלִ֙יתָ֙ עַל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כֶּֽעָנָ֖ן לְכַסּ֣וֹת הָאָ֑רֶץ בְּאַֽחֲרִ֨ית הַיָּמִ֜ים תִּֽהְיֶ֗ה וַֽהֲבִֽאוֹתִ֙יךָ֙ עַל־אַרְצִ֔י לְמַעַן֩ דַּ֨עַת הַגּוֹיִ֜ם אֹתִ֗י בְּהִקָּֽדְשִׁ֥י בְךָ֛ לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם גּֽוֹג: כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הַֽאַתָּה־ה֨וּא אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֜רְתִּי בְּיָמִ֣ים קַדְמוֹנִ֗ים בְּיַ֥ד עֲבָדַי֙ נְבִיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַֽנִּבְּאִ֛ים בַּיָּמִ֥ים הָהֵ֖ם שָׁנִ֑ים לְהָבִ֥יא אֹֽתְךָ֖ עֲלֵיהֶֽם:
וְהָיָ֣ה | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא בְּי֨וֹם בּ֥וֹא גוֹג֙ עַל־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה תַּֽעֲלֶ֥ה חֲמָתִ֖י בְּאַפִּֽי: וּבְקִנְאָתִ֥י בְאֵֽשׁ־עֶבְרָתִ֖י דִּבַּ֑רְתִּי אִם־לֹ֣א | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ רַ֣עַשׁ גָּד֔וֹל עַ֖ל אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל: וְרָֽעֲשׁ֣וּ מִפָּנַ֡י דְּגֵ֣י הַיָּם֩ וְע֨וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם וְחַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה וְכָל־הָרֶ֙מֶשׂ֙ הָֽרֹמֵ֣שׂ עַל־הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה וְכֹל֙ הָ֣אָדָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה וְנֶֽהֱרְס֣וּ הֶֽהָרִ֗ים וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ הַמַּדְרֵג֔וֹת וְכָל־חוֹמָ֖ה לָאָ֥רֶץ תִּפּֽוֹל: וְקָרָ֨אתִי עָלָ֚יו לְכָל־הָרַי֙ חֶ֔רֶב נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה חֶ֥רֶב אִ֖ישׁ בְּאָחִ֥יו תִּֽהְיֶֽה: וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֥י אִתּ֖וֹ בְּדֶ֣בֶר וּבְדָ֑ם וְגֶ֣שֶׁם שׁוֹטֵף֩ וְאַבְנֵ֨י אֶלְגָּבִ֜ישׁ אֵ֣שׁ וְגָפְרִ֗ית אַמְטִ֚יר עָלָיו֙ וְעַל־אֲגַפָּ֔יו וְעַל־עַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתּֽוֹ: וְהִתְגַּדִּלְתִּי֙ וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתִּ֔י וְנ֣וֹדַעְתִּ֔י לְעֵינֵ֖י גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֑ים וְיָֽדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה:

יחזקאל לט / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 39

Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord God.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God. And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God.

And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

וְאַתָּ֚ה בֶן־אָדָם֙ הִנָּבֵ֣א עַל־גּ֔וֹג וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הִנְנִ֚י אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ גּ֔וֹג נְשִׂ֕יא רֹ֖אשׁ מֶ֥שֶׁךְ וְתֻבָֽל:

וְשֹֽׁבַבְתִּ֙יךָ֙ וְשִׁשֵּׁאתִ֔יךָ וְהַֽעֲלִיתִ֖יךָ מִיַּרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפ֑וֹן וַֽהֲבִֽאוֹתִ֖ךָ עַל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל: וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י קַשְׁתְּךָ֖ מִיַּ֣ד שְׂמֹאולֶ֑ךָ וְחִצֶּ֕יךָ מִיַּ֥ד יְמִֽינְךָ֖ אַפִּֽיל: עַל־הָרֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל תִּפּ֗וֹל אַתָּה֙ וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּ֔יךָ וְעַמִּ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתָּ֑ךְ לְעֵ֨יט צִפּ֧וֹר כָּל־כָּנָ֛ף וְחַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה נְתַתִּ֥יךָ לְאָכְלָֽה: עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה תִּפּ֑וֹל כִּי אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה: וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־אֵ֣שׁ בְּמָג֔וֹג וּבְיֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י הָֽאִיִּ֖ים לָבֶ֑טַח וְיָֽדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה: וְאֶת־שֵׁ֨ם קָדְשִׁ֜י אוֹדִ֗יעַ בְּתוֹךְ֙ עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְלֹֽא־אַחֵ֥ל אֶת־שֵֽׁם־קָדְשִׁ֖י ע֑וֹד וְיָֽדְע֚וּ הַגּוֹיִם֙ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה קָד֖וֹשׁ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל:
הִנֵּ֚ה בָאָה֙ וְנִהְיָ֔תָה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה ה֥וּא הַיּ֖וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתִּי: וְיָֽצְא֞וּ יֹֽשְׁבֵ֣י | עָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּבִֽעֲר֡וּ וְ֠הִשִּׂיקוּ בְּנֶ֨שֶׁק וּמָגֵ֚ן וְצִנָּה֙ בְּקֶ֣שֶׁת וּבְחִצִּ֔ים וּבְמַקֵּ֥ל יָ֖ד וּבְרֹ֑מַח וּבִֽעֲר֥וּ בָהֶ֛ם אֵ֖שׁ שֶׁ֥בַע שָׁנִֽים: וְלֹֽא־יִשְׂא֨וּ עֵצִ֜ים מִן־הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה וְלֹ֚א יַחְטְבוּ֙ מִן־הַיְּעָרִ֔ים כִּ֥י בַנֶּ֖שֶׁק יְבַֽעֲרוּ־אֵ֑שׁ וְשָֽׁלְל֣וּ אֶת־שֹֽׁלְלֵיהֶ֗ם וּבָֽזְזוּ֙ אֶת־בֹּ֣זְזֵיהֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה: וְהָיָ֣ה בַיּ֣וֹם הַה֡וּא אֶתֵּ֣ן לְגוֹג֩ | מְקֽוֹם־שָׁ֨ם קֶ֜בֶר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל גֵּ֚י הָעֹֽבְרִים֙ קִדְמַ֣ת הַיָּ֔ם וְחֹסֶ֥מֶת הִ֖יא אֶת־הָעֹֽבְרִ֑ים וְקָ֣בְרוּ שָׁ֗ם אֶת־גּוֹג֙ וְאֶת־כָּל־הֲמוֹנ֔וֹ (כתיב הֲמוֹנֹ֔ה) וְקָ֣רְא֔וּ גֵּ֖יא הֲמ֥וֹן גּֽוֹג:
וּקְבָרוּם֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְמַ֖עַן טַהֵ֣ר אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ שִׁבְעָ֖ה חֳדָשִֽׁים: וְקָֽבְרוּ֙ כָּל־עַ֣ם הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהָיָ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לְשֵׁ֑ם יוֹם הִכָּ֣בְדִ֔י נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה: וְאַנְשֵׁ֨י תָמִ֚יד יַבְדִּ֙ילוּ֙ עֹֽבְרִ֣ים בָּאָ֔רֶץ מְקַבְּרִ֣ים אֶת־הָעֹֽבְרִ֗ים אֶת־הַנּֽוֹתָרִ֛ים עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ לְטַֽהֲרָ֑הּ מִקְצֵ֥ה שִׁבְעָה־חֳדָשִׁ֖ים יַחְקֹֽרוּ: וְעָֽבְר֚וּ הָעֹֽבְרִים֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְרָאָה֙ עֶ֣צֶם אָדָ֔ם וּבָנָ֥ה אֶצְל֖וֹ צִיּ֑וּן עַ֣ד קָֽבְר֚וּ אֹתוֹ֙ הַֽמְקַבְּרִ֔ים אֶל־גֵּ֖יא הֲמ֥וֹן גּֽוֹג: וְגַ֥ם שֶׁם־עִ֛יר הֲמוֹנָ֖ה וְטִֽהֲר֥וּ הָאָֽרֶץ:

וְאַתָּ֨ה בֶן־אָדָ֜ם כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר | אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה אֱמֹר֩ לְצִפּ֨וֹר כָּל־כָּנָ֥ף וּלְכֹ֣ל | חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה הִקָּבְצ֚וּ וָבֹ֙אוּ֙ הֵאָֽסְפ֣וּ מִסָּבִ֔יב עַל־זִבְחִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֜י זֹבֵ֚חַ לָכֶם֙ זֶ֣בַח גָּד֔וֹל עַ֖ל הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּ֥ם בָּשָׂ֖ר וּשְׁתִ֥יתֶם דָּֽם: בְּשַׂ֚ר גִּבּוֹרִים֙ תֹּאכֵ֔לוּ וְדַם־נְשִׂיאֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ תִּשְׁתּ֑וּ אֵילִ֨ים כָּרִ֚ים וְעַתּוּדִים֙ פָּרִ֔ים מְרִיאֵ֥י בָשָׁ֖ן כֻּלָּֽם: וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּם־חֵ֣לֶב לְשָׂבְעָ֔ה וּשְׁתִ֥יתֶם דָּ֖ם לְשִׁכָּר֑וֹן מִזִּבְחִ֖י אֲשֶׁר־זָבַ֥חְתִּי לָכֶֽם: וּשְׂבַעְתֶּ֚ם עַל־שֻׁלְחָנִי֙ ס֣וּס וָרֶ֔כֶב גִּבּ֖וֹר וְכָל־אִ֣ישׁ מִלְחָמָ֑ה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה:

וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת־כְּבוֹדִ֖י בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם וְרָא֣וּ כָל־הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֶת־מִשְׁפָּטִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי וְאֶת־יָדִ֖י אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֥מְתִּי בָהֶֽם: וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם מִן־הַיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא וָהָֽלְאָה: וְיָֽדְע֣וּ הַ֠גּוֹיִם כִּ֣י בַֽעֲו‍ֹנָ֞ם גָּל֣וּ בֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל עַל אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָֽעֲלוּ־בִ֔י וָֽאַסְתִּ֥ר פָּנַ֖י מֵהֶ֑ם וָֽאֶתְּנֵם֙ בְּיַ֣ד צָֽרֵיהֶ֔ם וַיִּפְּל֥וּ בַחֶ֖רֶב כֻּלָּֽם: כְּטֻמְאָתָ֥ם וּכְפִשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם עָשִׂ֣יתִי אֹתָ֑ם וָֽאַסְתִּ֥ר פָּנַ֖י מֵהֶֽם:

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord. But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord.

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

דניאל ט 27-24/ Dani’el / Daniel 9:24-27

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

וְאַתָּ֣ה דָֽנִיֵּ֗אל סְתֹ֧ם הַדְּבָרִ֛ים וַֽחֲתֹ֥ם הַסֵּ֖פֶר עַד־עֵ֣ת קֵ֑ץ יְשֹֽׁטְט֥וּ רַבִּ֖ים וְתִרְבֶּ֥ה הַדָּֽעַת:

ישעיהו ז 14-13 / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 7:13-14

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שִׁמְעוּ־נָ֖א בֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֑ד הַמְעַ֚ט מִכֶּם֙ הַלְא֣וֹת אֲנָשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י תַלְא֖וּ גַּ֥ם אֶת־אֱלֹהָֽי: לָ֠כֵן יִתֵּ֨ן אֲדֹנָ֥י ה֛וּא לָכֶ֖ם א֑וֹת הִנֵּ֣ה הָֽעַלְמָ֗ה הָרָה֙ וְיֹלֶ֣דֶת בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥את שְׁמ֖וֹ עִמָּ֥נוּ אֵֽל:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

ישעיהו נב 15-13 / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 52:13-15

Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

ישעיהו נג / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 53

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

מִ֥י הֶֽאֱמִ֖ין לִשְׁמֻֽעָתֵ֑נוּ וּזְר֥וֹעַ יְהֹוָ֖ה עַל־מִ֥י נִגְלָֽתָה:

וַיַּ֨עַל כַּיּוֹנֵ֜ק לְפָנָ֗יו וְכַשֹּׁ֙רֶשׁ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֔ה לֹא־תֹ֥אַר ל֖וֹ וְלֹ֣א הָדָ֑ר וְנִרְאֵ֥הוּ וְלֹֽא־מַרְאֶ֖ה וְנֶֽחְמְדֵֽהוּ: נִבְזֶה֙ וַֽחֲדַ֣ל אִישִׁ֔ים אִ֥ישׁ מַכְאֹב֖וֹת וִיד֣וּעַ חֹ֑לִי וּכְמַסְתֵּ֚ר פָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ נִבְזֶ֖ה וְלֹ֥א חֲשַׁבְנֻֽהוּ:

אָכֵ֚ן חֳלָיֵ֙נוּ֙ ה֣וּא נָשָׂ֔א וּמַכְאֹבֵ֖ינוּ סְבָלָ֑ם וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ חֲשַׁבְנֻ֔הוּ נָג֛וּעַ מֻכֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים וּמְעֻנֶּֽה: וְהוּא֙ מְחֹלָ֣ל מִפְּשָׁעֵ֔נוּ מְדֻכָּ֖א מֵֽעֲוֹֽנוֹתֵ֑ינוּ מוּסַ֚ר שְׁלוֹמֵ֙נוּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וּבַֽחֲבֻֽרָת֖וֹ נִרְפָּא־לָֽנוּ:
כֻּלָּ֙נוּ֙ כַּצֹּ֣אן תָּעִ֔ינוּ אִ֥ישׁ לְדַרְכּ֖וֹ פָּנִ֑ינוּ וַֽיהֹוָה֙ הִפְגִּ֣יעַ בּ֔וֹ אֵ֖ת עֲו‍ֹ֥ן כֻּלָּֽנוּ: נִגַּ֨שׂ וְה֣וּא נַֽעֲנֶה֘ וְלֹ֣א יִפְתַּח־פִּיו֒ כַּשֶּׂה֙ לַטֶּ֣בַח יוּבָ֔ל וּכְרָחֵ֕ל לִפְנֵ֥י גֹֽזְזֶ֖יהָ נֶֽאֱלָ֑מָה וְלֹ֥א יִפְתַּ֖ח פִּֽיו: מֵעֹ֚צֶר וּמִמִּשְׁפָּט֙ לֻקָּ֔ח וְאֶת־דּוֹר֖וֹ מִ֣י יְשׂוֹחֵ֑חַ כִּ֚י נִגְזַר֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ חַיִּ֔ים מִפֶּ֥שַׁע עַמִּ֖י נֶ֥גַע לָֽמוֹ: וַיִּתֵּ֚ן אֶת־רְשָׁעִים֙ קִבְר֔וֹ וְאֶת־עָשִׁ֖יר בְּמֹתָ֑יו עַל לֹֽא־חָמָ֣ס עָשָׂ֔ה וְלֹ֥א מִרְמָ֖ה בְּפִֽיו:

וַֽיהֹוָ֞ה חָפֵ֚ץ דַּכְּאוֹ֙ הֶֽחֱלִ֔י אִם־תָּשִׂ֚ים אָשָׁם֙ נַפְשׁ֔וֹ יִרְאֶ֥ה זֶ֖רַע יַֽאֲרִ֣יךְ יָמִ֑ים וְחֵ֥פֶץ יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּיָד֥וֹ יִצְלָֽח: מֵֽעֲמַ֚ל נַפְשׁוֹ֙ יִרְאֶ֣ה יִשְׂבָּ֔ע בְּדַעְתּ֗וֹ יַצְדִּ֥יק צַדִּ֛יק עַבְדִּ֖י לָֽרַבִּ֑ים וַֽעֲו‍ֹנֹתָ֖ם ה֥וּא יִסְבֹּֽל:

לָכֵ֞ן אֲחַלֶּק־ל֣וֹ בָֽרַבִּ֗ים וְאֶת־עֲצוּמִים֘ יְחַלֵּ֣ק שָׁלָל֒ תַּ֗חַת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶֽעֱרָ֚ה לַמָּ֙וֶת֙ נַפְשׁ֔וֹ וְאֶת־פֹּֽשְׁעִ֖ים נִמְנָ֑ה וְהוּא֙ חֵֽטְא־רַבִּ֣ים נָשָׂ֔א וְלַפֹּֽשְׁעִ֖ים יַפְגִּֽיעַ:

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

אֵלִ֣י אֵ֖לִי לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי רָח֥וֹק מִ֜ישֽׁוּעָתִ֗י דִּבְרֵ֥י שַֽׁאֲגָתִֽי:

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

ישעיהו מב 7-1 / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 42:1-7

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

הֵ֚ן עַבְדִּי֙ אֶתְמָךְ־בּ֔וֹ בְּחִירִ֖י רָֽצְתָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י נָתַ֚תִּי רוּחִי֙ עָלָ֔יו מִשְׁפָּ֖ט לַגּוֹיִ֥ם יוֹצִֽיא:

ישעיהו יא 4-1 / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 11:1-4a

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:

בראשית יב 3-1 / Bereishit / Genesis 12:1-3

Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

בראשית יג 17-14 / Bereishit / Genesis 13:14-17

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא כָּרַ֧ת יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶת־אַבְרָ֖ם בְּרִ֣ית לֵאמֹ֑ר לְזַרְעֲךָ֗ נָתַ֨תִּי֙ אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את מִנְּהַ֣ר מִצְרַ֔יִם עַד־הַנָּהָ֥ר הַגָּדֹ֖ל נְהַר־פְּרָֽת:

בראשית יז 21-1 / Bereishit / Genesis 17:1-21

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

וַיְהִ֣י אַבְרָ֔ם בֶּן־תִּשְׁעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וְתֵ֣שַׁע שָׁנִ֑ים וַיֵּרָ֨א יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל־אַבְרָ֗ם וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ אֲנִי־אֵ֣ל שַׁדַּ֔י הִתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ לְפָנַ֖י וֶֽהְיֵ֥ה תָמִֽים: וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה בְרִיתִ֖י בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֑ךָ וְאַרְבֶּ֥ה אֽוֹתְךָ֖ בִּמְאֹ֥ד מְאֹֽד:

וַיִּפֹּ֥ל אַבְרָ֖ם עַל־פָּנָ֑יו וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אִתּ֛וֹ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹֽר:
אֲנִ֕י הִנֵּ֥ה בְרִיתִ֖י אִתָּ֑ךְ וְהָיִ֕יתָ לְאַ֖ב הֲמ֥וֹן גּוֹיִֽם: וְלֹֽא־יִקָּרֵ֥א ע֛וֹד אֶת־שִׁמְךָ֖ אַבְרָ֑ם וְהָיָ֤ה שִׁמְךָ֙ אַבְרָהָ֔ם כִּ֛י אַב־הֲמ֥וֹן גּוֹיִ֖ם נְתַתִּֽיךָ: וְהִפְרֵתִ֤י אֹֽתְךָ֙ בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֔ד וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְגוֹיִ֑ם וּמְלָכִ֖ים מִמְּךָ֥ יֵצֵֽאוּ: וַֽהֲקִֽמֹתִ֨י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֜י בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֗ךָ וּבֵ֨ין זַרְעֲךָ֧ אַֽחֲרֶ֛יךָ לְדֹֽרֹתָ֖ם לִבְרִ֣ית עוֹלָ֑ם לִֽהְי֤וֹת לְךָ֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֖ אַֽחֲרֶֽיךָ: וְנָֽתַתִּ֣י לְ֠ךָ֠ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֨ אַֽחֲרֶ֜יךָ אֵ֣ת | אֶ֣רֶץ מְגֻרֶ֗יךָ אֵ֚ת כָּל־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן לַֽאֲחֻזַּ֖ת עוֹלָ֑ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָהֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִֽים:

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֔ם וְאַתָּ֖ה אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֣י תִשְׁמֹ֑ר אַתָּ֛ה וְזַרְעֲךָ֥ אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ לְדֹֽרֹתָֽם: זֹ֣את בְּרִיתִ֞י אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁמְר֗וּ בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֥ין זַרְעֲךָ֖ אַֽחֲרֶ֑יךָ הִמּ֥וֹל לָכֶ֖ם כָּל־זָכָֽר:
וּנְמַלְתֶּ֕ם אֵ֖ת בְּשַׂ֣ר עָרְלַתְכֶ֑ם וְהָיָה֙ לְא֣וֹת בְּרִ֔ית בֵּינִ֖י וּבֵֽינֵיכֶֽם: וּבֶן־שְׁמֹנַ֣ת יָמִ֗ים יִמּ֥וֹל לָכֶ֛ם כָּל־זָכָ֖ר לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם יְלִ֣יד בָּ֔יִת וּמִקְנַת־כֶּ֨סֶף֙ מִכֹּ֣ל בֶּן־נֵכָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹ֥א מִזַּרְעֲךָ֖ הֽוּא: הִמּ֧וֹל | יִמּ֛וֹל יְלִ֥יד בֵּֽיתְךָ֖ וּמִקְנַ֣ת כַּסְפֶּ֑ךָ וְהָֽיְתָ֧ה בְרִיתִ֛י בִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֖ם לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם: וְעָרֵ֣ל | זָכָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־יִמּוֹל֙ אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר עָרְלָת֔וֹ וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵֽעַמֶּ֑יהָ אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י הֵפַֽר:
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֔ם שָׂרַ֣י אִשְׁתְּךָ֔ לֹֽא־תִקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמָ֖הּ שָׂרָ֑י כִּ֥י שָׂרָ֖ה שְׁמָֽהּ: וּבֵֽרַכְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֔הּ וְגַ֨ם נָתַ֧תִּי מִמֶּ֛נָּה לְךָ֖ בֵּ֑ן וּבֵֽרַכְתִּ֨יהָ֙ וְהָֽיְתָ֣ה לְגוֹיִ֔ם מַלְכֵ֥י עַמִּ֖ים מִמֶּ֥נָּה יִֽהְיֽוּ:
וַיִּפֹּ֧ל אַבְרָהָ֛ם עַל־פָּנָ֖יו וַיִּצְחָ֑ק וַיֹּ֣אמֶר בְּלִבּ֗וֹ הַלְּבֶ֤ן מֵאָֽה־שָׁנָה֙ יִוָּלֵ֔ד וְאִ֨ם־שָׂרָ֔ה הֲבַת־תִּשְׁעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תֵּלֵֽד:
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אַבְרָהָ֖ם אֶל־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים ל֥וּ יִשְׁמָעֵ֖אל יִֽחְיֶ֥ה לְפָנֶֽיךָ:

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲבָל֙ שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתְּךָ֗ יֹלֶ֤דֶת לְךָ֙ בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥אתָ אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ יִצְחָ֑ק וַֽהֲקִֽמֹתִ֨י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֥י אִתּ֛וֹ לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָ֖ם לְזַרְע֥וֹ אַֽחֲרָֽיו: וּלְיִשְׁמָעֵאל֘ שְׁמַעְתִּ֒יךָ֒ הִנֵּ֣ה | בֵּרַ֣כְתִּי אֹת֗וֹ וְהִפְרֵיתִ֥י אֹת֛וֹ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֥י אֹת֖וֹ בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד שְׁנֵֽים־עָשָׂ֤ר נְשִׂיאִם֙ יוֹלִ֔יד וּנְתַתִּ֖יו לְג֥וֹי גָּדֽוֹל: וְאֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י אָקִ֣ים אֶת־יִצְחָ֑ק אֲשֶׁר֩ תֵּלֵ֨ד לְךָ֤ שָׂרָה֙ לַמּוֹעֵ֣ד הַזֶּ֔ה בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה הָֽאַחֶֽרֶת:

שמות כג 32 / Shemot / Exodus 23:32

Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

לֹֽא־תִכְרֹ֥ת לָהֶ֛ם וְלֵאלֹֽהֵיהֶ֖ם בְּרִֽית:

יחזקאל מח 14, 29 / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 48:14,29

And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the Lord. … This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord God.

וְלֹֽא־יִמְכְּר֣וּ מִמֶּ֗נּוּ וְלֹ֥א יָמֵ֛ר וְלֹ֥א יַֽעֲבִ֖יר (כתיב יַֽעֲבִ֖ור) רֵאשִׁ֣ית הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּֽי־קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהֹוָֽה: … זֹ֥את הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־תַּפִּ֥ילוּ מִנַּֽחֲלָ֖ה לְשִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ מַחְלְקוֹתָ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה:

יחזקאל יא 17 / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 11:17

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

לָכֵ֣ן אֱמֹ֗ר כֹּֽה־אָמַר֘ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִה֒ וְקִבַּצְתִּ֚י אֶתְכֶם֙ מִן־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים וְאָֽסַפְתִּ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִן־הָֽ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר נְפֹֽצוֹתֶ֖ם בָּהֶ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֥י לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

יחזקאל כ 34 / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 20:34

And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

וְהֽוֹצֵאתִ֚י אֶתְכֶם֙ מִן־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים וְקִבַּצְתִּ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִן־הָֽ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר נְפֽוֹצוֹתֶ֖ם בָּ֑ם בְּיָ֚ד חֲזָקָה֙ וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּבְחֵמָ֖ה שְׁפוּכָֽה:

יחזקאל כח 26-25 / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 28:25-26

Thus saith the Lord God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.

כֹּֽה־אָמַר֘ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִה֒ בְּקַבְּצִ֣י | אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מִן־הָֽעַמִּים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָפֹ֣צוּ בָ֔ם וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי בָ֖ם לְעֵינֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וְיָֽשְׁבוּ֙ עַל־אַדְמָתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לְעַבְדִּ֥י לְיַֽעֲקֹֽב: וְיָֽשְׁב֣וּ עָלֶיהָ֘ לָבֶטַח֒ וּבָנ֚וּ בָתִּים֙ וְנָֽטְע֣וּ כְרָמִ֔ים וְיָֽשְׁב֖וּ לָבֶ֑טַח בַּֽעֲשׂוֹתִ֣י שְׁפָטִ֗ים בְּכֹ֨ל הַשָּׁאטִ֚ים אֹתָם֙ מִסְּבִ֣יבֹתָ֔ם וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶֽם:

יחזקאל לד 13 / Yechezkel /Ezekiel 34:13

And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

וְהֽוֹצֵאתִ֣ים מִן־הָֽעַמִּ֗ים וְקִבַּצְתִּים֙ מִן־הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת וַֽהֲבִֽיאוֹתִ֖ים אֶל־אַדְמָתָ֑ם וּרְעִיתִים֙ אֶל־הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּֽאֲפִיקִ֕ים וּבְכֹ֖ל מֽוֹשְׁבֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ:

יחזקאל לו 24 / Yechezkel / Ezekiel 36:24

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

וְלָֽקַחְתִּ֚י אֶתְכֶם֙ מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְקִבַּצְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִכָּל־הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת וְהֵֽבֵאתִ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם אֶל־אַדְמַתְכֶֽם:

ישעיהו יא 12-11 / Yeshayahu / Isaiah 11:11-12

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

וְהָיָ֣ה | בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יוֹסִ֨יף אֲדֹנָ֚י | שֵׁנִית֙ יָד֔וֹ לִקְנ֖וֹת אֶת־שְׁאָ֣ר עַמּ֑וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשָּׁאֵר֩ מֵֽאַשּׁ֨וּר וּמִמִּצְרַ֜יִם וּמִפַּתְר֣וֹס וּמִכּ֗וּשׁ וּמֵֽעֵילָ֚ם וּמִשִּׁנְעָר֙ וּמֵ֣חֲמָ֔ת וּמֵֽאִיֵּ֖י הַיָּֽם: וְנָשָֹ֤א נֵס֙ לַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאָסַ֖ף נִדְחֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּנְפֻצ֚וֹת יְהוּדָה֙ יְקַבֵּ֔ץ מֵֽאַרְבַּ֖ע כַּנְפ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ:

ירמיהו יט 14-11 / Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 29:11-14

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

כִּי֩ אָֽנֹכִ֨י יָדַ֜עְתִּי אֶת־הַמַּֽחֲשָׁבֹ֗ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י חֹשֵׁ֥ב עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה מַחְשְׁב֚וֹת שָׁלוֹם֙ וְלֹ֣א לְרָעָ֔ה לָתֵ֥ת לָכֶ֖ם אַֽחֲרִ֥ית וְתִקְוָֽה: וּקְרָאתֶ֚ם אֹתִי֙ וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם וְהִתְפַּלַּלְתֶּ֖ם אֵלָ֑י וְשָֽׁמַעְתִּ֖י אֲלֵיכֶֽם: וּבִקַּשְׁתֶּ֥ם אֹתִ֖י וּמְצָאתֶ֑ם כִּ֥י תִדְרְשֻׁ֖נִי בְּכָל־לְבַבְכֶֽם: וְנִמְצֵ֣אתִי לָכֶם֘ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה֒ וְשַׁבְתִּ֣י אֶת־שְׁבֽוּתְכֶ֗ם (כתיב שְׁבֽיּתְכֶ֗ם) וְקִבַּצְתִּ֣י אֶ֠תְכֶם מִכָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֞ם וּמִכָּל־הַמְּקוֹמ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִדַּ֧חְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֛ם שָׁ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה וַֽהֲשִׁבֹתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֶל־הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁר־הִגְלֵ֥יתִי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִשָּֽׁם:

ירמיהו ל 3 / Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 30:3

For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

כִּ֠י הִנֵּ֨ה יָמִ֚ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְ֠שַׁבְתִּי אֶת־שְׁב֨וּת עַמִּ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וִֽיהוּדָ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה וַֽהֲשִֽׁבֹתִ֗ים אֶל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָתַ֥תִּי לַֽאֲבֹתָ֖ם וִֽירֵשֽׁוּהָ:

יואל ד 2 / Yoel / Joel 4:2

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
